Wuxi Guanghua Apparatus and Valves Factory was founded in year 1971. The factory professionally makes and markets auto-control valves for various apparatuses, pneumatic directional control and dump valves for float glass lines, manual light butterfly valves and various multi-fan adjusting valves. It has solid technical strength, fine manufacture equipment, advanced techniques, consummate quality guarantee system and testing facilities. Furthermore, the factory is capable of developing and producing a whole range of new products. In recent years, Guanghua has developed several innovative products for both international and domestic customers. In year 1997, the company was appraised as Provincial High and New Tech Enterprise in Jiangsu, and it passed the GB/T19001-ISO9001 quality system certification on Jun. 8, 1998.

　　Currently, the factory has the net assets of RMB 35 million, among which the fixed assets are RMB 30 million. The area it occupies is 36,000 square meters (including 21,000 square meters of building area). The number of permanent employees of Guanghua is 450, including 55 technical specialists (among them 7 are senior engineers). The enterprise owns 215 sets of equipment, and some of them are advanced high-precision machines introduced from UK, Japan and Russia etc., such as TORNADO-100A full-function numeric control horizontal lathe, CTO18 vertical processing center and NP1250 5-axle, 4-interlock numeric control horizontal boring and milling machine that integrates the functions of boring, milling and drilling. Up to now, the factory has developed the capability of ferrous and non-ferrous metal casting, plate work, rivet welding, universal machine processing and complete machine manufacturing. Presently, the annual mechanical production and processing capacity is 5,000 tons, the annual gross industrial output is RMB 67 million, and the annual profit payments and tax turnover amount to RMB 11 million.
